Adjustment Techniques

Diversified Adjustments
A Chiropractic adjustment is a highly-skilled and precise movement done by hand to the vertebrae of the spine and/or other joints of the body. This quick force is utilized to restore proper motion to the specific joints that are not moving optimally. Adjustments will also improve function to the joint and help to regulate the nervous system. When a joint is adjusted, a gas bubble may be released causing a popping noise, which is totally normal.

Flexion-Distraction
Using a specialized table, a low force technique is used to elicit motion into the joints, decompress the spine, and stretch the lower back musculature.
This helps to reduce pressure on the discs, nerves, and other structures in the back. This technique is gentle enough to be used for patients who have chronic pain or are recovering from a recent injury.
Flexion-distraction therapy is non-invasive and safe and performed by a licensed Chiropractor. It can help relieve various conditions, including herniated discs, degenerative disc conditions, sciatica, and more. If you're experiencing back pain, talk to your Doctor or Chiropractor to see if this therapy may be right for you.

Activator
An activator is a handheld, spring loaded device used to deliver a specific and controlled force to the spine and other joints in the body.
It is commonly used as an alternative to spinal manipulation techniques to improve joint mobility. The activator is designed to provide a gentle and precise force to the targeted area. It is often used for patients who prefer a gentler approach or those with specific conditions that require more cautious treatment.
